\n Location: New Lexington, Ohio
\n Employment Type: Full-Time
\n Salary Range: $30-35/hr. \nJob Description:\n This will be a 3rd shift position but you need to be available to work any shift. 
\n Warehouse Supervisor - A Shift: 7:00AM-3:00PM B Shift: 3:00PM-11:00PM C Shift: 11:00PM-7:00AM

\nPosition Summary: Ensure the achievement of the unit's safety, production, quality, and continuous improvement goals through adequate planning, organization, coordination, and control of its human and technical resources and materials.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\n\n

    \n\t
  • Create a work environment where each employee is respected, feels welcome and safe, and is empowered to do their best.\n\t
  • Responsible for all parts being built to the manufacturing plan and customer specifications.\n\t
  • Ensure that employees and team leaders are properly trained and empowered to execute the job requirements.\n\t
  • Communicate work rules and required standards of conduct.\n\t
  • Assess employee performance, and initiate employee coaching and discipline as necessary.\n\t
  • Identify, control, and communicate risk in operations.\n\t
  • Ensure employees are trained to safely perform their jobs.\n\t
  • Act as a role model and ensure employees model safe behaviors.\n\t
  • Initiate and participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.\n\t
  • Ensure production reports are accurately maintained.\n\t
  • Organize and schedule work, including management of breaks, overtime, vacation, and absence coverage to achieve production requirements.\n\t
  • Ensure conformance to quality procedures and proper application of quality and process controls.\n\t
  • Encourage, support, and communicate improvement ideas from operators, and assist with implementation once ideas have been approved.\n\t
  • Collaborate with Continuous Improvement teams, identifying and proposing possible solutions and supporting their effective implementation.\n\t
  • Ensure communication between shifts and that team meetings occur.\n\t
  • Participate in meetings with managers to evaluate performance results and planned actions.\n\t
  • Participate in critical parts meetings as needed, and daily walkabout.\n\t
  • Participate in or lead safety-related processes such as hazard assessment, work instruction development, incident investigations, LPA, 6S, safety walks, etc.\n\t
  • Ensure that HSE legal and management system requirements for work areas are met.\n\t
  • May on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description.\n
\n\nEducation and Qualifications:\n\n
    \n\t
  • Four-year degree or two-year degree in pursuit of a four-year degree with two to four years in supervision and/or more than 3 years practical experience in supervision/management.\n\t
  • Ability to identify and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems.\n\t
  • Analytical skills to gather and interpret production information.\n\t
  • Computer competency required, including spreadsheet, charting, and word documentation.\n\t
  • Uses tact and diplomacy to exchange information and handle sensitive issues.\n\t
  • Willingness and ability to travel, as necessary.\n\t
  • Work on off-shift and overtime as scheduled.\n
\n\nWork Environment/Work Conditions:\n\n
    \n\t
  • Manufacturing Environment – exposure to high and low temperatures depending on the season.\n\t
  • Must wear proper personal protection equipment at all times while on manufacturing floor.\n\t
  • Travel to manufacturing facilities or customer locations when required.\n\t
  • Equipment used requires proper training on the potential for and avoidance of injury.\n
