About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President, Community Development and CRA Officer to ensure compliance with banking regulations related to the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and reporting data to the federal government, initiating and executing grant applications, and regularly reviewing progress in lending, investment, and service tests. This role involves developing new business in community development target markets, maintaining relationships with community leaders, and chairing CRA committee meetings. The SVP will also be involved in community development activities, promoting financial literacy, and overseeing the employee volunteer program. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years' of CRA and community development experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A thorough knowledge of federal regulations pertaining to CRA, experience in preparing and executing CRA strategic plans, and a strong background in public sector financing programs are essential. The role requires the ability to travel for community events, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, well-organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to exercise sound judgment, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
