About the Opportunity:

This Summer Internship with Atlas Real Estate offers a unique blend of operational and administrative experience within the dynamic field of property management. You'll gain valuable insights into the day-to-day functions of a busy real estate office while contributing directly to the efficiency and organization of our team. This unpaid internship is designed for motivated college students seeking practical, hands-on learning in a fast-paced environment.

  • Office Administration & Organization:
    • Provide a welcoming atmosphere by greeting office visitors and handling incoming inquiries.
    • Manage daily mail sorting and distribution.
    • Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems through consistent file uploads.
    • Perform accurate and efficient data entry for various administrative tasks (minimal).
    • Maintain key inventory and organization.
    • Manage and track lockbox inventory.
    • Ensure overall office organization and cleanliness.
  • Document Management & Support:
    • Execute copy work, specifically assembling move-in orientation packets and other essential documents.
    • Assist in the handling of those minor tasks that are often vital to office efficiency, but frequently overlooked.
  • Operational Support:
    • Assist the team in various property management operations, gaining exposure to the broader industry.
    • Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Requirements:

Time Commitment & Schedule:

  • 15-20 Hours Per Week: This internship demands a consistent 15-20 hour weekly commitment.
  • Flexible Scheduling: We offer flexible scheduling to work around your academic schedule.
  • Designated Office Day: One designated office day per week is required.
  • Provided Lunch & Collaboration: On your office day, enjoy complimentary lunch during workshops and collaborative check-in sessions with fellow interns.

Required Qualifications:

  • Academic Enrollment: Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Business Administration, Real Estate, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Industry Interest: Demonstrated interest in the real estate and property management sector.
  • Communication & Teamwork: Excellent written and verbal communication, coupled with strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a willingness to learn new software.
  • Growth Mindset: Highly motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn and grow professionally.
