How you'll make an impact: The Producer, Road Dog Trucking - Part Time will be responsible for overseeing all in studio elements of a live radio show. This includes managing studio operations supporting technical needs assisted with production screening listener calls and conducting show related research.
What you'll do: - Manage this studio and technical operations of the show.
- Oversee and support all aspects of show production.
- Follow the show format and provide feedback to the host.
- Assist the program director and promoting the program.
What you'll need: - At least two (2) years of experience at a radio station or audio production facility.
- Excellent creative editing and communication skills for radio.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Previous production experience within radio and/or a live studio environment preferred.
- Good public speaking and presentation skills.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to pay attention to details and be organized./
- Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to "internal client" and customer service principles.
- Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
- Creative writing ability.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid production skills with a strong working knowledge of audio equipment necessary for on air production and execution.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
