Project Director (Direct Hire – Onsite)

Our client is hiring a dynamic and detail-driven Project Director to lead high-impact financial operations within a community-focused department. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference through the strategic management of departmental budgets, grant allocations, and financial planning efforts. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and management of the department’s overall budget, including multiple smaller budgets that roll into a master budget.
• Ensure grant funding is properly allocated and tracked in accordance with program goals and compliance standards.
• Navigate overlapping historical and current budget cycles with precision and strategic insight.
• Analyze and interpret financial data to guide priorities, assess performance, and support informed decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in finance, budgeting, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with the ability to assess financial data and take action.
• Ability to extract meaningful insights from numbers and communicate trends and resource needs clearly.
• Proficiency in budgeting software and Microsoft Excel preferred.

Salary: $72,141.00. This full-time FLSA-exempt position also includes an excellent benefits package: defined pension plan, paid holidays, paid time off (vacation, sick, and personal time,) and health care benefits (medical, dental, prescription, and vision).
