Clinical Research Associate II Compensation And Benefits The salary range for this position is $82k - $102k. Position Summary: The position is focused primarily on developing research projects, communicating relevant scientific information to internal and external stakeholders, and developing and maintaining peer-to-peer relationships with key medical experts, academic researchers, and decision-makers. This role will support all research and communications involving Sciton products. The role will collaborate with academic researchers, physicians, and other medical experts to identify new clinical applications, disseminate new knowledge and generate awareness of Sciton devices in the medical community. Reports to: Medical Science Liaison, Senior Clinical Research Manager, President. In This Role, You Will Engage In The Following Identify opportunities to support the medical and scientific community in-line with company goals. Develop and maintain peer-to-peer collaborations and relationships with KOLs, clinicians, decision-makers, and academic researchers in the dermatology, plastic surgery, women’s health, and medical aesthetics communities. Build research communities within which KOLs and other clinicians can share their experiences with a new product or application, provide feedback on how it works in clinical practice as well as how it can be further improved and integrated into the medical community. Collaborate with KOLs and internal stakeholders on clinical research initiatives, including participation in clinical trials, advisory boards, medical education opportunities, and research training. Educate KOLs and internal stakeholders on new clinical and scientific data that will inform strategy for the application of Sciton devices within a given therapeutical area. Work closely with KOLs and internal stakeholders to produce peer-reviewed research publications. Support the Clinical Research and Regulatory Affairs teams with study design and preparation of data for FDA clearance applications. Support the Clinical Research team in monitoring clinical studies and analyzing study data. Support sales and marketing initiatives with relevant scientific and clinical information. Essential Requirements Master’s or doctorate degree in a clinical research field. At least 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs, as a Medical Writer, or as a Research Associate/Scientist in a clinical research field. Demonstrated ability to establish networks and active relationships with KOLs in a medical community. Extensive experience in designing clinical research trials, analyzing and presenting clinical research data. Experience with Regulatory Affairs and medical device clearance would be an asset. Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently with strong initiative. Pro-active team player, flexible, able to work in ambiguous situations, able to travel periodically. Ability to review published evidence and draw conclusions from the literature. Strong analytical skills. Expertise in biostatistics would be an asset. Programming skills and experience with Wolfram Mathematica would be an asset.
