Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Home Health

Job Summary:

A well-established home care provider in Northern Virginia is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide high-quality home health care services. As a CNA, you will assist clients with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility support, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on assistance with personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting).
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
  • Monitor vital signs and report changes in the client’s condition to the supervising nurse.
  • Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and feeding as needed.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Ensure a safe environment by following infection control protocols and safety procedures.
  • Document care provided and report observations as required.
  • Transport or accompany clients to appointments and errands, if necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Active CNA certification in the state of Virginia.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in home health, assisted living, skilled nursing, or hospital settings preferred.
  • Current CPR certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening .
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, move, and support clients as needed.
